About the role:
We’re looking for a Social Media & Communications Specialist to manage our presence across social platforms and community forums. You’ll be the voice connecting our organization with the public, clients, and internal teams. This is a fully remote position—work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection.
No experience required. We provide full training and mentoring to help you succeed. If you’re excited about learning how social media and community engagement work in a real business environment, this role is for you.
What you’ll do:
• Manage comments and discussions across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, and community forums
• Respond to comments—positive, neutral, and negative—in a professional, helpful, and timely way
• Work with design and marketing teams to create and share content that resonates with our audience
• Research industry topics and develop messaging for presentations and campaigns
• Develop communication strategies that promote our organization, services, and impact across multiple channels
• Keep our brand messaging consistent and aligned with organizational goals across all platforms
• Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, media contacts, and community members
• Research market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth
Skills/background needed:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt your tone and style for different audiences
• Organized and able to manage multiple platforms and conversations at once
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit)
• Genuine interest in online communities and how people engage online
• Ability to research topics thoroughly and communicate findings clearly
• Comfortable working with diverse groups of people and handling difficult conversations diplomatically
• A degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience
