Roles: You will be responsible for capturing and sharing visual stories through photography and social media, while providing on-site transportation support for camp activities and events.
About the role: This is a hands-on position ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, photography, and community engagement. You’ll work closely with leadership to bring the camp’s mission and activities to life through compelling visual content, manage photo archives, and support transportation logistics for campers and staff.
Key responsibilities:
• Capture high-quality photos of daily activities, events, and camper experiences that reflect the organisation’s values and community spirit• Organise, sort, and catalog photos for use in newsletters, marketing materials, and promotional content• Create and post engaging content to social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) following established guidelines and schedules• Work with leadership to develop and execute a weekly content plan• Drive participants and staff to off-site activities, trips, and other locations as assigned• Support off-site programmes and activities, contributing to a safe and positive experience for all• Assist with camp-wide programmes, events, and activities as needed• Serve as a positive role model and contribute to the overall culture of the community
Skills/background needed:
• Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license• Experience with photography, videography, or social media content creation is preferred but not required• Ability to drive a passenger van (full training will be provided if needed)• Comfortable using social media platforms including Instagram and Facebook• Strong communication and organisational skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment• Enthusiasm for working with groups and supporting community-building activities
