Social Media Content Producer – Entry Level

We’re looking for a Social Media Content Producer to capture engaging short-form content and bring it to life across social platforms. This is a hands-on production role built for someone creative, fast-moving, and driven by a natural instinct for what makes content perform.

You’ll work closely with a marketing team that leads brand strategy and scheduling. Your focus is production: shooting, editing, captioning, and managing the day-to-day flow of content. The work is equal parts creative and operational. You’ll take clear direction and run with it, but you’ll also bring your own ideas and spot moments worth capturing before anyone points them out.

Responsibilities

Capture engaging moments: Identify and film content that tells a story and connects with your audience.

Shoot with confidence: Work primarily on mobile devices with a strong eye for composition, and use a camera when a moment calls for higher production quality.

Edit short-form video: Create tight, well-paced videos built for social feeds using editing software.

Write compelling captions: Craft captions that match the brand voice and give each post a reason to stop and engage.

Manage content flow: Plan, organize, and maintain a steady pipeline of roughly 10 to 15 posts per month.

Work within strategy: Deliver finished content aligned with the marketing team’s direction, ready for scheduling.

Move quickly: Handle fast turnarounds and revisions so timely moments stay relevant.

Direct on-camera moments: Set up shots and guide moments to capture what the content needs without a full production crew.

Stay organized: Keep footage organized and hand off cleanly to the marketing team.

Skills/background needed

Creativity and speed: You work fast without sacrificing quality and bring ideas, not just execution.

Initiative: You don’t wait to be told. You see what’s needed and take action.

Takes direction well: You work within a brief, absorb feedback, and turn revisions around without friction.

Platform instinct: You know what’s working right now and can feel what will land with an audience.

Capture skills: Comfortable shooting on mobile devices and confident using a camera. No formal training required.

Short-form editing: You can take raw footage and make it engaging. Experience with Canva or similar editing tools is helpful.

Writing ability: You can write captions that match a brand voice and feel intentional.

Organization: You manage your own workflow, hit deadlines, and keep everything in order.

Reliability: Consistent follow-through and dependability.

Nice to have

A track record of growing an account or producing content that performed well. Your own filming equipment. A genuine interest in the industry or subject matter you’ll be covering.

Contract details

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.

Contract length: Full-time or part-time positions available.

Location: On-site position. Local positions available.

Key benefits: Flexible scheduling options.

What to expect

Full training will be provided. You’ll work with an experienced team that supports your growth and development. No previous professional experience is required—we’re more interested in your creativity, your eye, and your willingness to learn and improve.

When you apply, share a portfolio of short-form content you’ve shot and edited. Include a range of pieces, and for a few standout examples, add a brief note on why each one worked. If you’ve grown an account or created something that performed well, we’d love to hear about it.
