We’re looking for a creative video editor who can transform raw footage and content assets into engaging short-form videos for social media platforms. You’ll work with our team to create scroll-stopping content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
This is a part-time remote role with the potential to grow into a full-time position as the work expands. No prior experience with our company or specific clients is necessary—we’ll guide you through everything.
What You’ll Do:
Creative Concept & Strategy
Collaborate with the team on video concepts and storylines that match client brand identity and goals. Stay aware of emerging trends and platform features to keep content fresh and engaging. Review what’s performing well and adapt your editing style to match each client’s preferences.
Video Editing & Production
Edit videos for pacing, sound, music, captions, and visual transitions that reflect each client’s brand voice. Use professional editing software like Premiere Pro, Canva, or CapCut. Optimize videos with relevant hashtags, captions, and trending elements for maximum reach.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with team members to understand client messaging and target audiences. Attend regular strategy meetings to align on content goals. Receive content requests and deliver polished videos within agreed-upon deadlines. Incorporate feedback quickly and professionally.
Skills & Background Needed:
• Hands-on experience creating short-form videos for social platforms (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
• Strong grasp of video and sound editing techniques
• Knowledge of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest)
• Excellent writing skills with proper grammar and punctuation
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Creative mindset with an eye for visual storytelling
• Comfortable learning editing software and adapting to new tools
