We’re seeking an entry-level technical writer to join our team. You’ll create clear, well-organized technical documentation that helps users understand complex systems and procedures. No prior experience is required—we provide full training and support as you grow in this role.
What you’ll do:
• Write and edit technical documents including procedure manuals, user guides, and specification sheets
• Gather information from engineers, developers, and subject-matter experts through interviews and technical reviews
• Study blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications to understand systems and equipment
• Test systems and validate that documentation accurately reflects how products perform
• Collaborate with team members across engineering, operations, and support
• Work within an Agile development environment, attending team meetings and contributing to project timelines
• Ensure all documentation is clear, accurate, and easy to understand for the intended audience
Skills/background needed:
• Excellent written communication skills—you can explain technical concepts clearly and concisely
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to work collaboratively with people at all professional levels
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and processes
• Familiarity with Agile methodology or willingness to learn it on the job
Bonus skills (nice to have, not required):
• Experience or knowledge of technical documentation standards
• Familiarity with authoring tools or XML editing
• Previous exposure to Agile or Scrum frameworks
• Any background in technical fields such as electronics, engineering, or equipment maintenance
