About the role
You’ll create and revise technical documentation that supports the operation, maintenance, and repair of products. Your work will ensure all documents follow required standards and language principles, making complex information clear and accessible.
In this role, you’ll work with publishing software to produce product descriptions, operating procedures, maintenance guides, repair procedures, and other technical materials. You’ll research information by consulting with technical staff, analyze technical drawings, and translate engineering data into clear documentation that non-technical readers can understand.
You may also help evaluate project timelines, suggest improvements to document formatting and style, and work with illustrations and graphics to enhance your documentation.
What you’ll bring
No prior technical writing experience is required. You should have:
• Strong written English skills with careful attention to detail
• Ability to understand and explain technical concepts in simple language
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn publishing software
• Ability to work well with different team members
• Customer service mindset and professional communication skills
Experience with PDF markup tools, content management systems, or technical documentation is helpful but not required. We provide full training on all publishing software you’ll use.
What we’re looking for
We welcome applications from candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent and a willingness to learn. Those with a bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience are also encouraged to apply. Prior exposure to mechanical, electrical, or systems knowledge is helpful but not essential—we’ll train you on what you need.
