We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our documentation team. In this role, you’ll plan, organize, and write clear documentation for software products. You’ll use your understanding of documentation best practices and strong writing skills to help our customers succeed.
About the Role:
You’ll write, edit, and maintain a range of software documentation including user guides, reference materials, online help, and release notes. You’ll collaborate with engineers, support teams, and subject matter experts to learn about new features, interpret technical information, and turn it into clear, user-friendly content for a technical audience.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Write and maintain software documentation in multiple formatsWork with engineers and support teams to understand new features and technical detailsOrganize complex technical information into clear, accessible documentationReport on project status and manage documentation prioritiesEnsure all documentation meets company standards and best practicesManage updates and changes as the software evolvesStay flexible and committed to best practices, even when deadlines are tight or requirements shiftParticipate in planning with the software development team
What You’ll Need:
Essential Skills/Background:Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related fieldExperience writing software documentation in English (experience with CAD, CAE, or engineering software is a plus)Excellent written and verbal English skills with strong attention to detailGood interviewing and interpersonal skillsExperience with documentation tools and softwareAbility to work with graphics and image-editing programsStrong problem-solving skills and experience improving documentation processesNice to Have:Experience documenting code interfaces or APIsFamiliarity with build and automation toolsExperience with AI, ML, or developer platformsPortfolio of technical writing samples
